Overview

The Indexing API allows you to:
  • Index GitHub Repositories - Make your codebase searchable
  • Index Documentation Websites - Crawl and index documentation sites
  • Index Documents - Upload PDFs, DOCX, Markdown, and other document types
  • Manage Resources - List, check status, and delete indexed resources

Index a GitHub repository for user-specific search

Index a single document file (PDF, DOCX, Markdown, TXT)

List Resources

List all indexed resources for the user

Check Resource Status

Check indexing status and progress for a specific resource

Delete Resource

Delete an indexed resource and all associated knowledge articles

Update Document Metadata

Update document metadata (name, description, tags) without re-indexing

Replace document content and optionally re-index

Re-index an existing document with latest processing logic

Rate Limits

Indexing operations count against your indexing quota:
  • Professional Plan: 5 index jobs/month
  • Team Plan: 10 index jobs/month
  • Enterprise Plan: Unlimited index jobs/month
